ABOUT

All Things Forex Corp. (ATFX) is an alternative investment manager specializing in currency investment strategies and foreign exchange risk management. The firm is currently exempt under CFTC Regulation 4.14 and was previously registered as a Commodity Trading Advisor and was an approved member of the National Futures Association (ID# 0466436). Our clients are qualified eligible persons (as defined by CFTC Regulation 4.7) and institutions, including pension funds, charities, foundations, endowments, as well as corporations and family offices.

 

 

MANAGEMENT

Ilian Yotov is the President and Portfolio Manager of ATFX where he brings a combination of in-depth knowledge, expertise, innovative strategies and investment techniques. 

 

Mr. Yotov is a longtime FX Strategist, known among industry peers as the creator of The Quarters Theory, a revolutionary methodology applied to the price behavior of currency exchange rates. His FX market analysis, outlook and forecasts are sought by popular financial publications worldwide and he is a regular guest speaker at industry events. Throughout his career in the financial markets spanning over the last two decades, Mr. Yotov has served as FX Analyst for a financial software company, a trader at a proprietary trading firm member of the Pacific Exchange (currently part of NYSE Euronext), FX Strategist and co-host of the FX market programs for a financial television network; and as a Chief FX Strategist for an absolute return currency investment management firm where he was responsible for leading the fund’s G10 research initiatives and for turning them into actionable trade ideas and investment strategies.

Strategy and EMEA office

Howard Friend is the Sr. Quantitative Strategist and Portfolio Manager for ATFX Europe. This ATFX branch is based in Switzerland and serves clients from Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Friend is responsible for the development and implementation of the newly-launched systematic strategy as part of the ATFX Managed Accounts Program. 

 

Mr. Friend served as a Chief Market Strategist for MIG Bank, a Swiss banking institution which was acquired by Swissquote in 2012. Prior to that, he worked as a trader for a family office in London where he produced solid returns for the company's managed futures portfolio.

 

Howard Friend is a member of ARIF, a self-regulatory organization authorized by the Swiss Federal Authority for Financial Market Supervision (FINMA) with the supervision of financial intermediaries under the Swiss Federal Law. Mr. Friend holds a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association and was a runner up in The Technical Analyst magazine's "Technical Analyst Of The Year" industry specialist award.
